Royal Buffet & Grill is a pan-asian restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 2743 S 3rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19148, which places it among the local businesses of Philadelphia that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Philadelphia, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–10:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (267) 202-7181. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 2,617 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for pan-asian restaurants in Philadelphia. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you are a AYCE enthusiast then this is were you want to be. We have been to so many and this establishment stands out by far. In terms of seafood selection, price point, quality and taste, are all on the check box. This is a must and come by after 3 pm M-F or whole day dinner on weekends, if you are coming for the Lobster.

Huge parking space and easy to park. We came on a Saturday around 12:45 PM and it wasn’t crowded, but by around 1:30 PM there was already a long line, so I’d recommend going earlier. The food isn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely good for the price. They have a huge variety of beef, seafood, sushi, sashimi, dim sum, fruit, and hot dishes. I personally wasn’t a fan of the lobster and crab, but everything else was pretty good. Overall, it’s about $50 per person with plenty of food and drink options. Great value if you’re looking for a buffet with lots of choices.

This place is the textbook example of Quantity over Quality. It's a very impressive and massive building and layout. From the moment you enter the main doors you think, "Oh, this is going to be really high quality food" and at first glance, the selection is overwhelming, and makes you go wow. But unfortunately, the overall quality of the food was very lacking. Including tax and tip, it comes out to $49 per person, and at this price point, quality is extremely important. A few items were good, like the duck, salmon sashimi, dungeness crab, seared salmon nigiri, coffee mousse cake, lamb chops, and a few others, but the majority were very lacking in quality, and you can tell by how dry and flavorless a lot of the items, especially meat items were. Very disappointing as I was extremely excited to try this place. Overall, service was good and attentive tho.

I came to Royal Buffet & Grill with my girlfriend and my mom. The place is overwhelmingly huge, and so are the food selections. We visited based on a recommendation from family and friends, and we were not disappointed. The service is great, and the restaurant stays clean despite the high volume of foot traffic. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Parking - Private Parking Atmosphere - The restaurant is very nicely decorated, clean, and surprisingly not overly crowded given the number of tables. We came for dinner on a weekend, and the wait was minimal, barely five minutes. Service - The waitstaff in our area were very attentive and helpful. They consistently made sure we had everything we needed, kept our water filled, and cleared empty dishes promptly. What We Enjoyed Most - This is the only buffet in the Philadelphia area that I know of that offers whole lobster, which is one of our favorite features. Another standout was the lamb chop. I would argue it’s better than some restaurant-quality versions. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare, which is impressive for a buffet. Beyond that, there is a huge variety of food, drinks, and dessert options to choo

Here for pre vday date. Came around 1:30 on a Friday wasn’t to busy at all no line outside or really at the buffet got seated right away everyone was friendly we never felt rushed which we loved. Had lots of food options everything was hot except this one piece of honey chicken I got. Buffet is clean and decorated nicely great seating as well and nice clean bathroom. Food had great flavor as well as dessert. The Mongolian beef was good as well as a crab sort of pasta I got. I also got lobster claws which was a good size. Favorite dessert was the strawberry mousse cake definitely try it. Only reason for my 4 stars is they did not have crab legs or lamb chops during lunch. So if you are looking for that go at dinner it starts at 3:30pm. For 2 ppl for lunch it was only $47 so wasn’t bad at all food was good. Would definitely go back for dinner if in the area came from New Jersey btw. Give this place a try definitely worth it!
